Manually Releasing Net Feed Roll Brake

Proceed as follows to manually rotate net feed rolls:

Disengage PTO and shut off tractor engine.

Open net wrapping cover. See "Opening And Closing Net Wrapping Cover" in this Section.

Pull down lever (A) then unlock it from latch (B). Release lever (A) then latch (B) to disengage brake pad (C). Feed rolls can be then rotated.

NOTE: Once unlocked, lever (A) should be kept in position above latch (B) as shown.

To engage brake, pull down lever (A) and lock it with latch (B). Feed rolls should not be able to rotate.

IMPORTANT: If feed rolls can still be rotated with brake engaged, readjust or replace brake pad (C). See "Checking Net Feed Roll Brake (Test 3)" in "Service" Section.
