Fine Tuning Bale Size

Depending on the crop baled, it can occur that the measured bale diameter does not correspond to the desired diameter adjusted on monitor.

In this case, the monitor can be fine tuned to recover the real desired bale diameter. Note desired bale diameter and real bale diameter, then proceed as follows:

Switch OFF monitor, if necessary.

Press and hold AUTO key while switching the monitor ON again. The LCD screen displays digits "0-00" as shown.

Keep on holding AUTO key and use PLUS and MINUS keys to correct the bale size by displaying the difference between bale diameter measured minus desired bale diameter.

NOTE: Fine tune range is ±0.20 m (±7.87 in.).

Release AUTO key to store the last bale size entered.

NOTE: A short pressure on PLUS or MINUS keys gives an increment of 0.01 m (0.39 in.). A long pressure on those keys accelerates the increment display.

NOTE: Using AUTO key for fine tuning bale size will also switch from automatic wrapping mode to manual wrapping mode or vice versa. Check that desired wrapping mode is still activated. See "Selecting Automatic Or Manual Wrapping Mode" in this Section.

The monitor is then ready to operate again at the desired bale diameter.
