Adjusting Twine Arm Re-Extension
The distance of twine arm re-extension can be adjusted from 0 to 0.50 m (0 to 1 ft 7.7 in). This re-extension will happen at the point determined by the operator, as described in "Adjusting Bale End Wrap Position" in this Section. The re-extension allows to have more twine coils at the end of bale wrapping (e.g. when baling straw).
Display and adjust the twine arm re-extension distance as follows:
Switch ON monitor in twine mode position.
Press and hold RE-EXTENSION key to display the current distance. If this one is no longer required, keep on holding RE-EXTENSION key while pressing PLUS key to increase the distance, or while pressing MINUS key to decrease it.
Release RE-EXTENSION key to store the last distance entered.
NOTE:
A short pressure on PLUS or MINUS keys gives an increment of 0.01 m (0.39 in.). A long pressure on those keys accelerates the increment display.
Choosing a distance of 0 means that there will be no re-extension.
Re-extension distance can be reduced below 0 to a maximum negative value of -2. This value means that the number of twine coils adjusted by the operator as described in "Adjusting Bale Side Wrap" will be reduced by 2 coils at the l.h. side (see "Reducing L.H. Side Number of Twine Coils" in this Section).
