Wrapping a Bale-Manual Net Wrapping Mode (Manual Start)

In this mode, the operator has to manually control the full wrapping cycle as follows:

Once the bale has reached the desired diameter stop forward travel of tractor.

Start net wrapping cycle by holding EXTEND key. Once the net actuator is extended, the feed rolls are engaged. Keep the actuator in this position for some seconds depending on the number of net wraps desired.

NOTE: During the manual wrapping cycle, the pictogram (A) will appear at LCD screen.

Fully retract net wrapping actuator by holding RETRACT key long enough to ensure that net is cut.

IMPORTANT: If net wrapping actuator is not fully retracted, pictogram (A) will appear continuously and an intermittent sound alarm will be emitted until monitor is switched OFF or actuator is fully retracted.

Back up tractor 2 to 3 m (8 to 10 ft) (not necessary if baler is equipped with discharging ramp). The bale is now ready to be discharged. See "Discharging Bale" in this Section.
