Discharging Bale
To ensure twine is cut, glance back to see that pulleys (A) have stopped rotating.
Keep PTO engaged except in case of 590 baler equipped with the permanent upper roll drive bundle. In this case the PTO must be disengaged.
Raise gate. Pictogram (B) (flashing) and warning pictogram (C) (continuous) appear on LCD screen.
NOTE:
If baler is equipped with net wrapping, wait for the second audible sound alarm before raising gate (net is cut).
Drive forward to clear bale (not necessary if baler is equipped with bale discharging ramp) and close gate.
IMPORTANT:
Close the gate immediately after the bale ejection. Do not leave the PTO engaged for longer than the discharge cycle.
IMPORTANT:
On 590 baler, keep engine speed high enough for sufficient oil flow to keep the belts tensioned when closing the gate.
Pictogram (D) should then be displayed on LCD screen. If not, check and determine cause of problem.
