Diagnosing Precutter Reverse Sensor

The reverser sensor (A) is located underneath the drive gear case and informs the operator when the precutter drive is reversed.

Test the reverser sensor (A) as follows:

Switch ON monitor in diagnostic mode. See "Switching On Control Monitor In Diagnostic Mode" in this Section.

Do not reverse the precutter drive (see "Reversing Precutter Rotor" in "Operating BaleMaster Control" Section), then check that sensor (A) is aligned with magnet (B).

Press and hold BALE SIDE WRAP key to check that digits (C) display "0". If display is "5", the sensor (A) is not correctly adjusted or defective.
