Symptom Problem Solution

Twine or net wrapping settings not constant with different sized bales.

Lower belt drive roll sensor not connected, defective or not correctly adjusted.

Reconnect or readjust sensor. Replace if necessary. See "BaleMaster Diagnostic Mode" and "Service" Sections.

On baler without sensor option: PTO rated speed below 540 rpm.

Drive baler at PTO rated speed of 540 rpm.

Bale size potentiometer not connected or defective.

Reconnect or replace potentiometer. See "BaleMaster Diagnostic Mode" and "Service" Sections.

No pictograms displayed at LCD screen when switching ON.

Controller fuse blown due to a reversed polarity connection of controller.

Connect properly and replace controller fuse. See "Service" Section.

Controller not connected.

Connect controller.

Battery wiring harness not correctly connected.

Reconnect properly. See "Preparing the Tractor" Section.

Erratic monitor functions.

Battery charge level too low.

Battery should deliver at least 20 A.

Battery voltage level below 7 V.

Monitor requires at least 12 V to function properly. Check or replace tractor battery.

Battery wiring harness not correctly connected.

Reconnect properly. See "Preparing the Tractor" Section.

Main switch defective.

Replace main switch.

Desired bale diameter can not be achieved.

Controller not set for baler model.

Select the right baler model. See "Operating BaleMaster Control" Section.

Bale size potentiometer not connected or defective.

Reconnect or replace potentiometer. See "BaleMaster Diagnostic Mode" and "Service" Sections.

Bale size fine tuned.

Reset to zero value. See "Operating BaleMaster Control" Section.

Twine arm movements not displayed on LCD screen.

Twine arm potentiometer not connected or defective.

Reconnect potentiometer, check wiring harness or replace actuator.

Twine arm moves to the right-hand side but does not come back (in automatic mode).

Twine arm potentiometer not connected or defective.

Reconnect potentiometer, check wiring harness or replace actuator.

Controller defective.

Replace controller.

Twine arm extension value tested with diagnostic mode below specified value.

Adjust actuator rod position to set at specified value. See "Service" Section.

Oversize alarm at smaller bale size than the maximum.

Controller not set for baler model.

Select the right baler model. See "Operating BaleMaster Control" Section.
