Setting Hydraulic Outlets
NOTE:
Refer to your tractor operator's manual for:
Recommended single acting cylinder outlet (Mower-Conditioner lift circuit)
Adjusting rate of cylinder operation (Flow control setting)
Adjusting SCV lever detent
The tractor must have three remote hydraulic circuits and a minimum of 15500 kPa (155 bar) (2250 psi) hydraulic flow pressure for platform lift circuit.
Set the flow for the tractor hydraulic remote outlet to give a tongue swing time of 6 to 8 seconds for tongue to swing from one side to the other. If swing speed is more than 8 seconds, see Troubleshooting section.
Adjust SCV lever detent:

7000 Series John Deere tractors, adjust SCV lever for no detent, so lever returns to neutral when released.

8000 Series John Deere tractors, set detent time at 0.
