5. Hold handle (A) and pull out lever (B). Lower support stand until it stops. Make sure lever (B) locks in place.

6. Make sure tuck panels are in full raised position (See Adjusting Windrow Width in Operating the Mower-Conditioner section.).

7. Release transport system brakes, if equipped.

8. Start tractor engine.

9. Disengage tractor parking brake and place transmission in "Neutral".

10. Lower hitch slightly, to reduce load on transport support stand.

13. Continue extending tongue swing cylinder until tractor centerline aligns with right-hand side of mower-conditioner platform.

14. Raise mower-conditioner platform. As platform raises, hooks at wheel supports unlatch from transport tubes.

15. Tilt cutterbar to minimum cut height. (See Adjusting Cut Height in Operating the Mower-Conditioner section.)

16. If unloading on a hard surface such as concrete or asphalt, engage transport system brakes (if

equipped) or put wheel chocks in place to prevent trailer from sliding along hard surface during unloading procedure.

17. Slowly move mower-conditioner forward. Ramps will lower as mower-conditioner weight "shifts" off transport.

18. Activate tongue swing circuit to move mower-conditioner to desired field operating position.

19. Raise hitch until PTO driveline is level.
