Removing Disks

NOTE: If removing left-hand end disk, refer to Replacing Left-Hand End Converging Disk Driver in this section. If removing right-hand end disk, refer to Replacing Right-Hand End Converging Disk Driver in this section.

956 Machine; Disks next to both left and right-hand ends are equipped with short converging drums (B). The following procedures apply to all disks.

1. Raise front doors.

2. Put a piece of wood between either end disk and outer side sheet.

3. Remove four cap screws (A).

4. Remove short converging drum (956), if equipped, and disk from cutterbar.
