causym CAUTION: Escaping fluid under pressure can penetrate the skin causing serious injury. Avoid the hazard by relieving pressure before disconnecting hydraulic or other lines. Tighten all connections before applying pressure. Search for leaks with a piece of cardboard. Protect hands and body from high pressure fluids.

If an accident occurs, see a doctor immediately. Any fluid injected into the skin must be surgically removed within a few hours or gangrene may result. Doctors unfamiliar with this type of injury should reference a knowledgeable medical source.

Always relieve hydraulic pressure before servicing hydraulic components:

  • Lower loader to ground.
  • For loader operated with tractor selective control valves, shut off engine and move levers.
  • For loader operated with an independent control valve, shut off engine. Move lever in any direction.
  • For loader operated with an armrest-integrated multi-function lever, shut off engine, turn key switch on, switch on lever and move it in any direction.

IMPORTANT: To prevent twisting the hydraulic tubes, use two wrenches when removing or connecting hoses to tubes.

  • Remove clamps and ties as required. Plastic ties cannot be used again.
  • Remove and replace hydraulic components.
  • Route or tie hoses to avoid contact with loader frame.
  • Perform all loader functions and check for leaks.
  • Check tractor hydraulic oil level. See your tractor operator's manual.
