Attaching Implements
1.
Clean any debris off of auto-latch device, implement holder and implement attaching points.
2.
Place auto-latch device in unlatched position.
a.
Loaders without hydraulic implement unlatching:
Extend bucket cylinders to angle the implement holder forward.
Lower loader until just off ground.
Engage parking lock, apply handbrake, shut off engine, remove key.
Pull handle of auto-latch device, then turn it clockwise to lock it in its extended position as shown.

b.
Loaders with hydraulic implement unlatching (531, 551, 631, 651, 661, 731 and 751)
Fully roll back the implement holder to fill accumulator of hydraulic implement unlatching.
Extend bucket cylinders to angle the implement holder forward.
Continuously press button (A). The auto-latch device has moved to unlatched position when the sound stops.
Release button (A).
NOTE:
If button (A) is released before the end of the sound, the auto-latch device does not move to unlatched position.
3.
Lower loader until just off ground.

4.
Align top of implement holder with bucket hooks.
5.
Raise loader until implement holder pins engage bucket hooks, then roll back bucket quickly to actuate the auto-latch device.
NOTE:
Auto-latch device is optimized for operating with front of loader boom just off ground.
6.
Engage parking lock, apply handbrake, shut off engine, remove key.
7.
Visually confirm pins are fully inserted in implement attaching points.
CAUTION:
Check that implement is properly locked before use.
Never leave loader with an implement partially attached.

8.
Connect hydraulics and electrics (implements with 3rd, 4th or 5th functions).
Level the implement and lower it to ground.
Engage parking lock, apply handbrake, shut off engine.
IMPORTANT:
To avoid coupling under pressure, relieve pressure in loader hydraulic lines. See "Attaching/Detaching the Loader" Section.
Remove key.

Connecting to individual couplers:
If implement is equipped, connect its hydraulic couplers and wiring harness.
Check that implement operates properly.

b.
Connecting to individual couplers with lever:
Insert hydraulic hose with male end into coupler.
Turn lever (A) to "open" position.
Connect color-coded cap and plug together.
Repeat for remaining hydraulic hose connections.
Connect wiring harness.

Connecting multi-coupler:
Open cover (A).
Before each connection, carefully clean the mating surface of base and top case as well as guiding pins.
Push on lock button (D) and simultaneously pull up lock cam lever (B).
Engage top case (E) on base (C), then pull down lock cam lever (B) until lock button (D) engages, so that top case (E) is connected to base (C).
