Ballasting Tractor with 746 Loader

CAUTION: To help prevent personal injury or death from tractor/loader rollover, add recommended amount of ballast to tractor. The amount of ballast listed is the minimum required for normal loader operation. For some operations, additional ballast may be required to maximize stability.

Tractors using single rear wheels require 1000 kg (2205 lb) of ballast.

Ballast given is minimum required for an 1800 mm (71 in.) or greater rear tread setting. For tread settings less than 1800 mm (71 in.) use an additional 320 kg (700 lb) per wheel. See your tractor Operator's Manual to add ballast to rear wheels.
