How the Soft Core Equipment Works

With ELS or ELC Monitor

Bypass on adjustable cartridge (A) is open, there is low pressure in tension cylinders. When preset soft core diameter is reached, the switch (B) is no longer activated by the cam (C). Bypass on soft core is closed and baler operates at density adjusted by operator.

With BaleTrak Monitor

Bypass on adjustable cartridge (A) is open, there is low pressure in tension cylinders. When the soft core diameter preset by the BaleTrak monitor is reached, bypass on soft core is closed and baler operates at density adjusted by operator.
