Detaching Implements

1. Level the implement and lower it until just off ground.

2. Disconnect hydraulics and electrics (implements with 3rd or 4th functions).

Close the implement (i.e. grapple, bale gripper, bale clamp, bale elevator).

IMPORTANT: To avoid disconnecting under pressure, relieve pressure in loader hydraulic lines. (See "Attaching/Detaching the Loader" Section.)

Engage parking lock, apply handbrake, shut off engine, remove key.

a. Disconnecting from individual couplers:

Disconnect hydraulic couplers.

Disconnect wiring harness.

b. Disconnecting multi-coupler:

Push on lock button (D) and simultaneously pull up lock cam lever (B).

Disengage top case (E) from base (C), so that top case (E) is disconnected from base (C).

Pull down lock cam lever (B) until lock button (D) engages.

Disconnect wiring harness.

Store top case (E) properly to avoid contact with dirt and keep it clean.

Close cover (A) to protect base (C).

3. Engage parking lock, apply handbrake, shut off engine, remove key.

4. Place auto-latch device in unlatched position.

a. Loaders without hydraulic implement unlatching:

Pull handle of auto-latch device, then turn it clockwise to lock it in its extended position as shown.

b. Loaders with hydraulic implement unlatching (533, 583, 633, 653, 663, 683 and 753):

Continuously press button (A) during 2,5 seconds. The implement is unlatched when the sound stops.

Release button (A).

NOTE: If button (A) is released before the end of the sound, the implement is not unlatched. It is recommended to lower loader until just off ground.

5. Slowly lower loader to ground until the implement holder is clear of bucket hooks.

NOTE: Once loader implement has been detached, the auto-latch device is ready to use for the next attaching process, provided the bucket cylinders are not fully retracted.
