Faulty tractor hydraulic system. Missing shuttle disk in loader valve on tractor.

Faulty load sensing signal.

"Flow checking" or faulty quick-connect coupler.

Overloading bucket, grapple or fork.

Incorrect control cable adjustment on single lever control operated loader.

Load is greater than loader lift capacity.

Internal lift cylinder leakage.

Test cylinders for internal leaks. Install cylinder repair kit. See your John Deere dealer.

Heavily loaded loader lowers when control is moved to raise position.

Lift check in control valve not working properly.

Repair control valve. See your John Deere dealer.

Heavily loaded bucket or implement dumps when control is moved to roll back position.

Lift check in control valve not working properly.

Repair control valve. See your John Deere dealer.

Loader operation does not correspond with control lever movement.

Hydraulic hoses connected wrong.

Correct hose connections. See "Identifying Hose Connections" in "Service" section.

Defective quick-connect coupler.

Replace coupler. See your John Deere dealer.

Loader settles from raised position.

Internal leak in control valve or cylinder.

Test for leaks. Install repair kit. See your John Deere dealer.

Implement difficult to lock or unlock.

Defective holder springs of auto-latch device.

Apply grease or lubricant spray to rods and springs.

Replace springs. See your John Deere dealer.

Hydraulic implement unlatching not working properly.

No electrical power.

Check 3rd function activation. If OK, see your John Deere dealer. If not OK, check fuse.

Defective hydraulic accumulator.
