Adjust Intermittent Drive Gear on Wire Baler

A - 0.2 mm (0.01 in.) Clearance
B - Pin
C - Screw
D - Washers
To eliminate tooth breakage and ensure proper mesh, the flat
side of the gripper drive pinion must be flush to 0.2 mm (0.01 in.)
(A) maximum with the smooth surface of the intermittent drive gear.
Adjust gears by removing pin (B) and loosening screw (C) in
needle lift shaft and locating washers (D) on shaft as necessary to
obtain proper mesh. Install pin and tighten screw.
