Avoid Injury or Death from Rollover Accidents

To help prevent personal injury or death caused by tractor roll-over, tractor must be equipped with rollover protective structure (ROPS) or with cab.

Be sure ROPS is in protective position to operate the loader.

Use seat belt when you operate the loader to minimize chance of injury from an accident such as an overturn.

To avoid rollovers:

• Be careful when operating on a slope.
• Avoid holes, ditches and obstructions which may cause tractor and loader to tip over, especially when operating on hillsides.
• Balance loads so weight is evenly distributed and load is stable.
• Carry loads close to the ground to aid visibility and lower center of gravity.
• Know capacity of loader. Do not overload.
• Reduce speed before turning. Avoid sharp turns.
