Lubricate and Maintain Loader Safely

Help prevent bodily injury from accidental lowering of loader. Do not perform service around front of tractor with loader elevated and unsupported. Before lubricating or servicing the loader or tractor, perform the following:
  1. Place transmission in PARK.
  2. Lower loader to ground.
  3. Shut off engine and remove key.
  4. Relieve pressure in hydraulic system. (See procedure in your tractor Operator's Manual or RELIEVE HYDRAULIC PRESSURE SAFELY in Safety section.)

NOTE: If servicing tractor requires loader to be elevated, see SERVICE LOADER AND/OR TRACTOR SAFELY (LOADER ATTACHED) in Service section.
