Adjust Flow Rate and Timed Detent of Tractor SCVs and ICVs

A - Detent Selector Knob

CAUTION: Help prevent personal injury or death caused by objects falling on the operator. Selective and independent control valves have automatic cylinder extend and/or retract position (detent) that must be locked out for loader operation. Unintentional movement of the control lever to the detent position may cause the loader to rise to full height unexpectedly and the load to fall back on the operator.

On loaders operated from SCV, turn detent selector knob (A) to front-loader position. See your tractor Operator's Manual to make adjustments.

On loaders operated from ESCV, EHSCV and EHICV, make sure that the front-loader mode has been activated and set time detent to zero (No Time Detent). See your tractor Operator's Manual to make adjustments.

NOTE: Detent time is also referred to as shut-off time.

Adjust flow rate so full extension or retraction of cylinders takes at least 2 seconds. See your tractor Operator's Manual to make adjustments.

IMPORTANT: Excessive operating speed can cause damage or injury.
