CAUTION: Help prevent bodily injury from accidental lowering of loader. Do not perform service around front of tractor with loader elevated and unsupported. Before lubricating or servicing the loader or tractor, perform the following:

1. Engage park brake.
2. Place transmission in PARK.
3. Lower loader to ground.
4. Shut off engine.
5. Relieve hydraulic pressure. See Relieve Hydraulic Pressure Safely in Safety section and see your tractor Operator’s Manual for specific procedures about relieving hydraulic pressure.
6. Remove key.

Normally, access to engine compartment and front of tractor can be made with bucket flat on ground.

However, due to tractor size and tire variations, it may be necessary to service tractor/loader with loader arms elevated. If so, do one of the following:

IMPORTANT: Avoid machine damage. Do not lower loader onto lift cylinder mechanical locks with hydraulic pressure applied or with load in bucket.

1. Remove any load from bucket or attachment.

2. Engage park brake.

3. Place transmission in PARK.

4. Raise loader, install lift cylinder mechanical locks (A) and then screws and crank arms (B) on both boom cylinders. See Operate Lift Cylinder Mechanical Locks in Operate Loader section.

5. Shut off tractor engine.

6. Slowly relieve pressure from the hydraulic system.
