A - Holder Spring

B - Gap

  1. Check holder spring (A), proceed as follows:

    1. Turn handle of auto-latch device counterclockwise.

    2. If the gap dimension (B) is not zero, replace holder spring (A). See your John Deere dealer.

  2. Clean and apply grease, oil or lubricant spray to rods and springs. Make sure pins engage freely.
