Relieve Hydraulic Pressure Safely

To prevent personal injury caused by unexpected movement, lower
loader to ground and close attachment before relieving pressure.
When parking or attaching loader, relieve
hydraulic pressure in the system before disconnecting or connecting
couplers. See your tractor Operator’s Manual for specific procedures
about relieving hydraulic pressure.

Shut off engine.

Turn key to ON position. Do not start tractor engine.

For loader equipped with 4th function, proceed as follows. Otherwise go to next step.

Activate 4th function. See Operating 3rd and 4th Functions in
Controls section.

Move loader control levers in all directions several times to
relieve 4th function hydraulic pressure.

Deactivate 4th function.

For loader equipped with 3rd function, proceed as follows. Otherwise go to next step.

Activate 3rd function. See Operating 3rd and 4th Functions in
Controls section.

Move loader control levers in all directions several times to
relieve 3rd function hydraulic pressure.

Deactivate 3rd function.

Make sure 3rd and 4th functions are not activated.

Move loader control levers in all directions several times to
relieve hydraulic pressure.

Lock out loader control levers. See Loader Control Levers in
Controls section and see your tractor Operator’s Manual.

Turn key to OFF position and remove key.
