Detach Bucket or Attachment

  1. CAUTION:

    Escaping fluid under pressure can penetrate the skin causing serious injury. Avoid the hazard by relieving pressure before disconnecting hydraulic or other lines.

    Level the bucket or attachment and lower loader to ground.



  2. Close the attachment (e.g. grapple, bale grapple, bale gripper or bale elevator).

  3. Place transmission in PARK, shut off engine, and remove key.

  4. Relieve pressure in hydraulic system. See in Safety section and see your tractor Operator’s Manual for specific procedure.

  5. Lock out loader control levers. See in Controls section and see your tractor Operator’s Manual for specific procedures.

    Bucket or Attachment Multicoupler

    A - Cover

    B - Lock Cam Lever

    C - Base

    D - Lock Button

    E - Top Case

    F - Harness

    Disconnect hydraulics and electrics (bucket or attachment with 3rd or 4th functions).

    1. Loader with bucket or attachment multicoupler:

      Push on lock button (D) and simultaneously pull up lock cam lever (B).

      Disengage top case (E) from base (C), so that top case (E) is disconnected from base (C).

      Store top case (E) properly to avoid contact with dirt and keep it clean.

      Disconnect electrical harness (F), if equipped.

      IMPORTANT: Avoid interference with tractor components. Lever (B) must be in the locked (DOWN) position when attachment multicoupler is removed. Cover (A) must also be lowered to protect connection surface.

      Close cover (A) and pull down lock cam lever (B) downward until lock button (D) engages.

      Bucket or Attachment Individual Couplers

      A - Plug

      B - Individual Coupler, Male

      C - Individual Coupler, Female

      D - Harness

      Loader with bucket or attachment individual couplers:

      Disconnect male and female individual couplers (B) and (C) from loader.

      Disconnect electrical harness (D), if equipped.

      Install plugs (A) on individual couplers.



  7. Unlock loader control levers. See in Controls section and see your tractor Operator’s Manual.

  8. Roll back bucket or attachment (retract bucket cylinders) until resting on carrier.

    Loaders without Hydraulic Implement Unlatching

    A - Handle

    Place auto-latch device in unlatched position.

    CAUTION: DO NOT allow bystanders near loader while detaching bucket or attachment. To prevent serious injury, bucket or attachment must be detached only by tractor operator.

    1. Loaders without hydraulic implement unlatching:

      Place transmission in PARK and shut off engine.

      Pull handle (A) of auto-latch device, then turn it clockwise to lock it in its extended position.

      A - Unlatching Button

      Loaders with hydraulic implement unlatching:

      Simultaneously press both buttons (A). The auto-latch device has moved to unlatched position.

    A - Arm

    B - Hook

    C - Bar

    Start tractor engine. Place transmission in NEUTRAL to allow tractor movement.



  11. Tilt carrier forward (extend bucket cylinders) and lower loader to ground allowing carrier arms (A) and bar (C) to clear hooks (B) on bucket or attachment.

    CAUTION: Avoid pinching hazard. If not immediately attaching another attachment, fully roll back carrier to engage latch pins.

  12. Place transmission in REVERSE and slowly back tractor away from bucket or attachment.
