Avoid Injury or Death from Falling Round Bales

To help prevent personal injury or death caused by falling loads:

1. DO NOT handle round bales unless loader is equipped with an approved bale handling implement. Otherwise, the bale can fall on the operator when the loader is raised.

2. Set tractor control valve to zero detent time or loader position before operating loader. See Adjust Flow Rate and Timed Detent of Tractor Control Valves in Preparing the Tractor section.

3. Handle raised loads with caution.

4. Carry loads low and drive slowly.
