Avoid Injury or Death from Rollover Accidents

To help prevent personal injury or death caused by rollover accidents when handling round bales:

  1. Equip the tractor with a rollover protective structure (ROPS). Wear your seat belt.

  2. DO NOT handle bales that exceed maximum implement bale weight capacity. See Implements section to obtain maximum bale weight capacity for each implement.

  3. Be sure tractor tire spacing and rear ballast is correct before using loader.

  4. Stop loader gradually when lowering or lifting loads.

  5. When handling round bales on a slope, always approach the bale with the tractor facing uphill.
