Tractor Engine Emission Level

The following abbreviations are used in this manual to identify tractor engine emission level:

The tractor engine emission level is only specified if a tractor model complies with either engine emission level Tier 3, iT4 or Tier 4. For more information, see your John Deere dealer.

• Tier 3 is a US non-road emission standard and is equivalent to Stage III A for Europe.
• iT4 is a US non-road emission standard and is equivalent to Stage III B for Europe.
• Tier 4 is a US non-road emission standard and is equivalent to Stage IV for Europe.
