Detach Implements

  1. Level the implement and lower loader to ground.

  2. Close the implement (e.g. grapple, bale grapple, bale gripper).

  3. Place transmission in PARK, shut off engine, and remove key.

  4. Relieve pressure in hydraulic system. See your tractor Operator’s Manual for specific procedure.

  5. Lock out joystick. See Lock and Unlock Joystick in Controls section. If equipped with other loader control levers, see your tractor Operator’s Manual.

  6. Disconnect hydraulics and electrics (implement with 3rd or 4th function).

    Implement Multicoupler

    A - Cover

    B - Lever

    C - Base

    D - Lock Button

    E - Top Case

    F - Harness

    Push lock button (D) and simultaneously pull up lever (B).

    Disconnect top case (E) from base (C).

    Store top case (E) properly to avoid contact with dirt and keep it clean.

    Disconnect electrical harness (F), if equipped.

    Avoid interference with tractor components. Always place lever (B) in locked (DOWN) position and close cover (A) when implement multicoupler is disconnected.

    Close cover (A) and pull down lever (B) until lock button (D) engages.



  7. Unlock joystick.

  8. To prevent serious injury, DO NOT allow bystanders near loader while detaching implement.

    ONLY tractor operator is allowed to detach implement.

    Roll back implement until resting on carrier.

    Place automatic implement latch device in unlatched position.

    1. Loaders without hydraulic implement unlatching:

      • Place transmission in PARK and shut off engine.
      • Pull handle (A) of automatic implement latch device, then turn it clockwise to lock it in its extended position.

    2. Loaders with hydraulic implement unlatching:

      • Simultaneously press both buttons (B) to move the implement latch in unlatched position.



  10. Detach implement.

      Tilt carrier forward and lower loader to ground to clear carrier arms (B) and bar (C) from implement hooks (A).



    2. Loader equipped with combi Euro/MX carrier and prepared for MX implement:

      Tilt carrier forward and lower loader to ground to clear Euro carrier hooking bars (B) from implement hooks (A).



  11. Place transmission in REVERSE and slowly back tractor away from implement.

  12. Avoid pinching hazard. If no implement is installed on carrier, engage implement latch pins. Avoid personal injury, never put your hands through the carrier to pull lever (C).

    • Loader equipped with Euro carrier: Pull lever (C) from the top of carrier to engage implement latch pins.

    • Loader equipped with Euro/MX carrier or Euro/SMS carrier: Slowly roll back carrier to engage implement latch pins.
