Reel Speed Control Switch (DIAL-A-SPEED™)

Reel speed-to-ground speed ratio may be preselected. Turning switch (A) clockwise changes ratio from 0.8-2.2 (shown on switch as 1-11). Turning switch all the way counterclockwise will de-activate reel speed control system.

III-Reel speed is 2.2 times faster than ground speed

NOTE: Reel speed control system will only operate within a ground speed range from 1.2 km/h (0.75 mph) to approx. 10 km/h (6.25 mph).

Operation:

During operation, reel speed may be adapted to harvesting conditions.

When working in down and tangled grain crops and a reel speed faster than ground speed is desired, move switch (A) to area (X) (a ratio between 1.1 and 2.2; shown on switch as 3-11).

NOTE: With reel speed control system activated, the reel will continue to rotate at slowest speed when ground speed drops below operating range.
