Adjusting Counter-Knives (1450 and 1550)

The length of chopped material can be modified by pivoting the counter-knives to a different angle.

IMPORTANT: Counter-knives should only be moved inward as far as absolutely necessary to prevent waste of engine power.

Recommended counter-knife positions:

1-Counter-knives horizontal for dry straw.

2-Counter-knives at slight angle for damp straw and weeds.

3-Counter-knives at extreme angle for rape and pea straw.

To adjust the counter-knives (A), slacken off screws (B) at both sides.
