Replacing Fuel Filter Element- 6.8 L Engines (1450, 1450 CWS and 1550 CWS)

CAUTION: Always remove ignition key before performing maintenance work on fuel filter. Avoid fire hazards!

Unfasten ring (A) and remove filter element (B).

Align keys on filter element with slots in filter base.

Hand tighten until the retaining ring (A) fits into the lock position.

Slacken off bleed screw (C) (see "Bleeding Fuel System"). Tighten bleed screw by hand.
