Replacing Fan/Alternator V-Belt

IMPORTANT: Only adjust fan speed with the engine running.

Remove the elevator drive belt (B) and pulley (C). Remove belt (D). Loosen mounting bolt and remove the pulley (E).

Remove pivot arm (A) and bolt (B) on both sides of yoke (C).

Remove snap ring (D) and take out flange (E) with bearing (F).

Remove belt (G) from the lower fan drive unit. Remove belt (G) over outer variable pulley (H) and yoke (C). The belt comes out over the bearing support opening (I). Pull the belt out through the opening.

Reverse these steps to install the new belt.

NOTE: Make sure the upper pulley lugs are correctly connected. First put the belt on the upper unit.
