IMPORTANT:
After changing the belt, remove the three bolts and store them in the tool box.
Removing Belt on Machines with Reduction Gear
Rotate threshing cylinder through the half pulley (A) or using a wrench (See Rotating Cylinder By Hand) until the three holes (B) of reduction gear (C) are aligned with threaded holes of outer half pulley (A).
Remove nuts (D), (E) and support (F).
There are three M12 x 150 bolts (G) with nuts and washers in the tool box. Insert these into the threaded holes in the outer half pulley (A) of the cylinder shaft. Evenly tighten the three nuts (H) to separate the two halves.
NOTE:
To remove, check that the belt is completely seated in the bottom of the cylinder shaft pulley slot.
With your hand pull the belt over the outer half of the beater shaft pulley (do not force).
Pull the belt off over the cylinder shaft pulley.
Reverse these steps to install the new belt.
