Cleaning Fuel Filter Water Trap-CWS/WTSIf water and sediment is visible through sight-glass (B), open up drain cock (A) with the engine shut off. Collect the contaminated fuel bleeding out in a suitable container. Then close drain cock (A). To clean the filter follow the procedure outlined below: Unfasten sight-glass (B). Remove filter insert (C) and carefully wash it with clean fuel. When the insert has been washed 5 to 10 times, replace the complete water separator for a new one. Once the filter has been cleaned, re-assemble it, reversing the removal procedure.
