Lubrication of Chains

In order to maintain chain performance and to extend service life, we recommend that they are lubricated daily when planting. The oil used must be light and of good quality.

The best moment for chain lubrication is daily after planting. The chains will be heated up, allowing good oil penetration and good run off of excess oil. If excess oil does not run off this will facilitate the deposit of earth and dirt on the chain.

In very dusty conditions use graphite spray. Graphite prevents build up of impurities on the chains.
