  1. Alleviate pressure from the springs of the pressure set by shifting lever (A) to detent notch (B), ensuring it is in the position of minimum pressure.

  2. Loosen cap screws (C) on both sides of row.

  3. Shift planting rows laterally to required spacing, aligning them with the furrow opener disks or hoes located further forward on the drill.

  4. It may be necessary to switch off some planting row units. To turn off seed meter turn lock (G) into position "Locked" and then slightly pull cable (F) in direction of arrow.

    Planter with CCS:

    Remove vacuum tube (H) and seal vacuum outlet with cap (I).

    To activate meter, carry out reverse procedure.


  5. Retighten the row attaching bolts to chassis and ensure that tubes (D) are correctly aligned.

  6. Seal off unnecessary feed outlets of CCS tank with cap (E) (planter with CCS).
