Preparing Metering Box - Vacuum Planter - Optional

NOTE: When planting crops with irregular seeds such as corn it is necessary to release auxiliary tube to increase seed flow in seed meter.

   B - Auxiliary Tube

   C - Seed Box

   D - Cover

   E - Cover

   Remove seed box (C).

2. Remove cover (E) from metering box (A).

3. Depending on crop perform following steps:

   • Irregular seeds such as corn: Remove cover (D) releasing auxiliary tube (B) to seed meter supply.
   • Regular seeds such as soybeans: Install cover (D) to block auxiliary tube (B) avoiding seed excess in seed meter.
   
   

4. Install cover (E) to metering box (A).

5. Install seed box.
