Row Marker Adjustment

IMPORTANT: Row markers must be adjusted according to the number of rows and the spacing between them.

There are two types of row markers. One model for use with 2109, 2111, 2113, 2115 and 2117 Planters and one model for 2122, 2126, 2130 and 2134 Dual Flex Planters.

It is recommended that the adjustable arms of the row markers are removed for transport.


A-Type - 2109, 2111, 2113, 2115 and 2117 Planters:

Row markers have two adjustable tubes. The adjustment system is similar to that of a telescope.

Adjust length of marker by loosening bolts (B).

Adjust inclination angle of marker disk. The greater the angle, the greater will be the row marked in the soil.

Loosen bolts (A), adjust angle and retighten.

NOTE: Use example in this manual to calculate marker arms length.


B-Type - 2109, 2111, 2113, 2115 and 2117 Planters:

    Loosen bolts (B) and only adjust extension (D) as necessary; loosen bolts (C) and only adjust extension (E) as necessary.



  2. Tighten bolts (B) and (C).

  3. Adjust inclination angle of marker disk (F). The greater the angle, the greater will be the row marking in the soil. Loosen screws (A) and adjust desired angle.

    NOTE: Disk may be mounted inversely, if necessary.

Adjust length of marker by loosening bolts (B).

Adjust inclination angle of marker disk. The greater the angle, the greater will be the row marked in the soil.

Loosen bolts (C), adjust disk angle and retighten.

NOTE: Use example in this manual to calculate marker arms length.

Row markers contain a shear bolt that must be replaced whenever broken.

The M8 x 110 shear bolts, grade 8.8, are located next to joint (A).
