Uncoupling DualFlexPro Planters for Individual Transport

  1. CAUTION: Park planter on firm and level terrain.

    Raise planter coupled to tractor.

  2. Install cylinder safety stops to all lifting cylinders on the machine. See Section Preparing Planter - Installing Cylinder Safety Stops for more information.

    In horizontal position of parking stand (A), release locks (B).



  4. Remove pins (C).

  5. Position parking stand (A) in vertical position.

  6. Install pins (C).

  7. Insert locks (B).

    NOTE: If necessary, use a base under the planter parking stands.

  8. Repeat these steps on remaining parking stands.

  9. Remove all cylinder safety stops.

  10. Lock row markers. For more information, see Section Preparing Planter - Locking Row Marker.

  11. Lower planter until totally touching the ground by retracting all parking stands and wheel cylinders.

    A - Hydraulic Vacuum Hoses

    B - Air Duct Hose

    Disconnect hydraulic vacuum hoses (A) and wiring harness connectors.



  13. Secure hoses to machine and seal off fittings and connectors.

  14. Release air duct hose (B).

  15. Secure air duct hose to machine and protect against residues.

    Remove hydraulic hoses connected to wheel lift cylinder inlet (A) and (C) and hydraulic hoses connected to wheel lift cylinder return (B) and (D).



  17. Remove hydraulic hose connected to row marker cylinder inlet (E) and hydraulic hose connected to wheel lifting cylinder return (F).

    NOTE: To remove hydraulic hoses, it is necessary to remove oil pressure in system that is caused by the planter weight.

  18. Seal hydraulic hoses to prevent residues from entering and secure hoses to machine chassis.

  19. Uncouple the two planters.

    On right-hand planter uncouple end (A) from support (B) and couple up to support (C).



  21. Move lance (D) until parallel to forward travel direction of machine.

  22. Uncouple end (E) from support (G) and couple up to support (F).

  23. Connect hoses previously removed from valve block and couple directly to tractor. See Section Coupling and Uncoupling for more information.

  24. Position parking stands in horizontal position.

    On left-hand planter uncouple end (A) from support (B) and couple up to support (C).



  26. Move lance (D) until parallel to forward travel direction of machine.

  27. Remove pin from position (H).

  28. Attach end (E) to support (F).

  29. Move end of lance (I) until you can install pin in position (G).

  30. Connect hoses previously removed from valve block and couple directly to tractor. See Section Coupling and Uncoupling for more information.

  31. Position parking stands in horizontal position.
