Fertilizer Furrow Opener Pivots and Cutter Disk Pivot Arm

   Remove bolts (A) from furrow opener pivots and cutter disks.

   Remove bushings (B) from pivots.

   CQ279149-UN-09OCT06

   Remove O-rings (C) from inner part of pivots.

4. Remove old grease and wash parts of assembly.

5. Install O-rings (C) and fill inner part of pivots with grease recommended by Deere (See grease specifications in this section).

   NOTE: You must use new O-rings.

6. Install bushings (B).

7. Install furrow openers and planter disk pivot arms following inverse order of disassembly.

NOTE: Perform service on furrow opener pivots and disk pivot arms after each planting season or once yearly.
