Adjusting Seed Meter Pawls

NOTE: This procedure refers to seed meter chain transmission.

1. 
   CQ279468-UN-12FEB07

   Loosen lock (A).

2. Disconnect vacuum hose (C) from seed meter.

3. Remove seed box (D).

4.

   Remove chain (D) and loosen nuts (C).

5. Reinstall seed box into place and engage lock (A).

6.

   Adjust gear so that pawls (A) of seed meter will fit into catches (B) of gear.

7. Tighten nuts (E).

   Remove seed box and install chain (D).

   Install seed box (D).

10. Attach lock (A) and install vacuum hose (C).
