IMPORTANT: Related research indicates that the best results are obtained when fertilizer is deposited to the side and below the seed row.

To adjust the position of the fertilizer furrow opener in relation to the seed furrow opener (A), loosen the furrow opener bolt (B), the wedge bolts (D) and shift the furrow opener until disk (C) is in the required position.

To mount furrow opener on chassis:

Tighten the nuts (E) of the bolts until the furrow opener is perpendicular to chassis and touching the lower part of the fertilizer tube.

Tighten the wedge bolts (D) with a torque of 70 N.m (7 kgm).

Tighten the nuts (E) with a torque of 175 N.m (17.5 kgm).
