Seed Disk Selection

IMPORTANT: In the event that chemicals are to be applied by farmer, carefully follow product manufacturer's instructions.

Powder or quick-drying liquid treatment is recommended in general. TREATMENTS CONTAINING A HIGH OIL CONTENT ARE NOT RECOMMENDED.

IMPORTANT: Chemical reactions between treatments applied by the farmer and those commercially applied may make the seeds sticky.

Certain humidity levels may add further complications. Chemical treatments that accumulate on the components of the meter may reduce the seed population and diminish spacing control. Consult the material packaging or supplier in order to obtain more information regarding treatment compatibility.

The vacuum meter can precisely plant the majority of sizes of corn seeds, cotton, sorghum, soybeans, beans, sunflowers, sugar beet and popcorn.

Corn seeds vary greatly in terms of size and shape. The corn seed disks used in the vacuum meter are good for the vast majority of sizes.

Each crop has a specific disk. When planting a certain crop ensure that the correct disk is installed.
