A - Seed Knockout Wheel

The seed knockout wheel (A) is used to ensure that certain types of seeds are fully released from the seed cell. The protuberances of the wheel slot into the holes of the seed cell, knocking out all seeds and foreign matter present.

The seed knockout wheel must be used when sorghum is being planted. Some sorghum seeds contain large quantities of foreign matter that can also become stuck in the cell or in the holes.
