Cutter Disk

A 508 mm (20 in.) cutter disk can be used in combination with any type of furrow opener. It must compulsorily be used with a hoe- type furrow opener.

Mounting Cutter Disk:

Insert, from base upwards, assembly pin (A) onto multi-furrow opener bracket (B) and fix in place with bolt (C). To dismount, reverse the process.

Ground Pressure Adjustment:

The pressure of the disk against the ground will determine its opening depth and should be adjusted according to ground hardness and the required depth.

Turn nut (A) clockwise to increase pressure and counterclockwise to decrease pressure. The pressure should be equal in all disks.

CAUTION: Take care when adjusting pressure. The cutter disk can cause injury.
