Position Adjustment of Seed Furrow Opener Disks

To alter the position of the seed furrow opener disks, from concentric to offset or vice-versa, proceed as follows:

• Remove gauge wheels.
• Remove the seed furrow opener disks.
• Remove shaft (A) from its position and mount it in hole (B). In the illustrated example, the alteration is from offset to concentric.

NOTE: When altering the mounted position of the shaft it is necessary install the shaft with LOCTITE® no. 30705.

Nut (C) tightening torque of 98—118 N.m (72.3—87 lb-ft).

Reassemble assembly in reverse order of disassembly.

IMPORTANT: This alteration must be made to all planter rows.
