Monitor does not turn on.

Monitor fuse blown.

Inspect fuse (located close to battery). Replace, if necessary, with a maximum 7.5 A fuse. If fuse blows again inspect all harnesses for broken wires or incorrect connections causing a short circuit to ground.

 

Poor battery connection.

Ensure connections are clean and properly tightened. Inspect harnesses for damage.

 

Low battery voltage.

Monitor voltage must be at least 10V. If it is lower, recharge or replace battery.

 

Defective monitor.

Monitor damaged. Contact your Dickey-john dealer. See “General Information, Service and Repairs”.

Error in row or in High/Low alarm of correctly planted row.

Seed sensor covered in dirt.

Clean sensor using a dry brush.

 

Defective harness sensor.

Turn on sensor and observe troubleshooting LED. If no LED glows, swap harness connector with the closest sensor to check if the sensor is damaged.

 

Defective monitor.

Monitor damaged. Contact your Dickey-john dealer. See “General Information, Service and Repairs”.

Tank alarm does not sound when tank empty.

Tank sensor covered in dirt.

Clean sensor using a dry brush.

 

Sensor error or harness short circuit.

Swap harness connector with the closest sensor to check if the problem is in the sensor or in the harness.

 

Defective monitor.

Monitor damaged. Contact your Dickey-john dealer. See “General Information, Service and Repairs”.

Tank alarm sounds even when tank is full.

Sensor error or harness broken.

Monitor detects a different number of sensors to set I/O lines. Check that all lines are being detected during self-test. Replace defective sensors.

 

Defective monitor.

Monitor damaged. Contact your Dickey-john dealer. See “General Information, Service and Repairs”.

System voltage alarm.

Low battery voltage.

Monitor voltage must be at least 10V. If it is lower, recharge or replace battery.

 

Bad battery contact.

Check that all connections are clean and tightened.

 

Harness damaged.

Inspect all harnesses for breaks and damage that may cause short circuits.

Auxiliary mode alarm sounds when drive shaft, fan or flow in motion.

Sensor error.

Drive shaft, fan or flow sensor not operative. Replace defective sensor.

 

Wrong calibration number.

Incorrect calibration sensor number. Check calibration number on accessories' setting screen.

 

Incorrect sensor limits.

Incorrect sensor limits. Check limits on accessories' setting screen.

 

Defective monitor.

Travel speed alarm sounds with machine in motion.

Travel speed sensor error.

Travel speed sensor not detected. Replace defective sensor.

Monitor error.

Maximum travel speed exceeded alarm sounding.

Maximum travel speed alarm adjusted too slow.

Increase the maximum travel speed setting or set to zero to disengage alarm.

 

Incorrect speed constant.

Travel speed sensor not calibrated, RADAR sensor angle was altered or an incorrect constant input to system. Use the SPEED - AREA - DISTANCE mode to check if speed is correct. if it is incorrect recalibrate speed constant.

Self-Test alarm.

Defective monitor.
