Refer to "Checking Tension of Alternator V-Belt Tensioner Spring " to determine if V-belt needs replacing.
1.
Relieve tension from V-belt.
2.
Remove V-belt from pulleys.

3.
Install a new V-belt and ensure that it is correctly seated in all pulley slots.
4.
Apply tension to V-belt with tensioner.
5.
Start engine and check V-belt alignment.
