Chaffer Extension
Its basic function is to recover the ends of pods, ears or sheaves not completely threshed to be threshed. It should be slightly wider than the chaffer.
On tilted ground, the opening may be wider than normal. Also, there are two openings with removable inserts (bars) on the side ends of the extension that capture the chaff that tends to build up in these regions when harvesting on slopes.
On excessively tilted ground, there is still the possibility of replacing the normal extension for the extension with a finger grate (see "Accessories").
