Adjusting Feeder House Slip Clutch

Safety slip clutch is adjusted through hex nut (A) pressure against three disk springs (B) which act on clutch (C).

To perform this adjustment, first loosen locknut (D) and hex nut (A). Then tighten hex nut (A) until distance (X) is 15-17,2 mm (0.6-0.68 in.).

Next, tighten locknut (D) to 140-160 N m (103.2-118 lb-ft).
